The older part of the house, comprising the dining room and bedroom above, dates from the early 16th century (circa 1504). The main bedroom has a lovely view of the pretty gardens and the picturesque Surrey hills, designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. The cottage has two bedrooms with double beds, and a sofa bed in the lounge. However, there is a maximum limit of four adults, although child guests may be allowed to a maximum of six people in total (excluding infants). Outside there are three patio areas for outside dining, a gas BBQ and Wendy House for children. Inside there is a spacious kitchen, cosy dining room for formal dining and an electric stove in the fireplace in the lounge which provides ambience and warmth. Typical of the era, it has a crooked roof and lots of beams so mind your head! The front door is located on the right side of the property- the cottage is accessed through the front gate. There is a lock box near the front door, so guests can let themselves in after check-in time. The owner is available for any queries and can be contacted by email or phone. Wonersh is a peaceful and serene village located just a few miles from the historic town of Guildford. Train journeys from Guildford to London average 35 minutes. Nearby is the picturesque hamlet of Shere with its 13th century church, pub and stocks!
