Granary Cottage

One of a collection of four attractive self-catering country cottages Granary cottage has two bedrooms and is finished to a lovingly high standard sleeping four people in style and comfort. Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of this area of Suffolk. The cottage has open living and dining space as well as a hand built kitchen. Upstairs is a large double room as well as a twin bedroom. A small W.C is at the top of the stairs with a full bathroom at the end of the hallway. LIVING ROOM: The living area has comfortable soft furnishings, enough for all guests to relax in front of the flat screen television with freeview channels. There are plenty of magazines and books to read as well as a drawer full of games to play. The dining table seats four and has a window overlooking the front garden. KITCHEN: The kitchen opens up onto the dining area and is a great space for sociable cooking. The kitchen is well appointed with hand built units and modern appliances. BEDROOM 1: This large bedroom is stylish in it’s finish, with a double bed, chest of drawers for storage. BEDROOM 2: A twin bedroom overlooking the front garden. There is a clothes rail for plenty of hanging storage. CLOAKROOM: At the top of the stairs is a small cloakroom with W.C. BATHROOM: The bathroom has a bath with shower over the top and a hand basin. Enjoy the outside furniture with the freedom of the lawns and adjoining paddocks, barbecue facilities are available in these areas for outdoor entertaining. There is also a games room with a pool table, air-hockey, table tennis table and darts board. There is a welcome pack inside each cottage with general information about the cottage, recommended places to visit and useful numbers. i allow guests to do their own thing however as I live on the grounds I am available if needed or you can contact me on my mobile. The cottages are situated in the grounds of a charming 16th century thatched farmhouse known as Upper Langdales. This is not a working farm but a peaceful haven of relaxation which is ideally situated for discovering Suffolk with its big skies and rolling countryside. Explore the Heritage Coastline, historic towns and pretty villages. Discover and enjoy the inspiration of Constable country. There is a wonderful farm shop and a number of lovely pubs and restaurants in easy reach. Be it for business, wedding accommodation, relaxation or seeing friends or family, Upper Langdales is a perfect retreat in a perfect location. We are only a 5 minute drive from Needham Market and 10 minutes from Stomarket. You will find a train station at both of these villages. Parking throughout Needham is free. Alternatively there are plenty of taxi firms that will collect and drop you off. As the cottage is in a rural location, we suggest that own transport is advisable. Granary Cottage is the ideal place for couples and families to get away and relax or how about hosting family gatherings by booking all four cottages.
