Welcome to Hollins Cottage, a beautiful 200 year old weavers cottage. Located in the rural village of Slaithwaite, close to all the amenities. Hollins Cottage is full of character with exposed beams, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's the perfect getaway destination. Close to fantastic walks and cycle routes, with breath-taking scenery right on your doorstep. Whether it's along the canal or up onto the moors. The village and surrounding areas have many local businesses, bars and restaurants Hollins Cottage is situated in a quite, green and leafy location, on a quiet road. Built of stone, with exposed beams and a great fire to put your feet up in front of. Hollins Cottage mixes old world charm with a modern twist. Guests have a cosy double and single bedroom, with tea and coffee making facilities in the double room. Both rooms have a TV, drawers, hanging space, bedside table and lamp. Private use of the bathroom, with shower and bath. Bedding, bathrobes, towels and toiletries provided. There is everything provided to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Guests have full access to the kitchen with all appliances, dining room and lounge. There is a patio area to the front of the property with table and chairs. Perfect for a glass of wine, to relax, and take in the scenery. I do live at the property, however, if I am not at work, which includes: - days, evenings, and weekends. I am usually out horse riding, walking, at the gym or at family/friends. The property is cleaned to Airbnb standards. I will advise on booking when I will be around. There are beautiful local shops, antiques, greengrocer's, butchers, cafe's, restaurants and bars, as well as an Aldi and Co-op. Plenty to keep you entertained and make for a memorable stay. There is a scenic walk along the canal to Marsden, or in the opposite direction, to Milnsbridge. The cottage is situated 3 minutes walk from the bus stop, with buses to Marsden and Huddersfield. It's 15 minute walk to the train station, with trains to Leeds and Manchester.
