You’ll enter the front door into the inviting living room, punctuated by a plush sofa and two comfortable side chairs. A large Smart HDTV with Roku promises hours of entertainment. With neutral furnishings, natural light streaming through a bay window and plenty of homey touches, you’ll find yourself relaxing into this cozy nest. A modern, sleek kitchen greets the family chef with stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space, with black quartz counters and contrasting white cabinets. The spacious adjacent dining area comfortably accommodates a stylish table for 6. The daylight basement has been transformed into an elegant and private master suite, with carpeted floors, king bed, modern decor, and a flat-screen HDTV. The large sitting area with sleep sofa enables you to steal a few moments alone, with your book, your device or just your thoughts. The space is large enough for your yoga or meditation practice. A private bath with tub/shower is attached. Access to the private rear yard is through a sliding glass door. On the top level are two additional bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. These two bedrooms share a full hall bath. A sampling of the exceptional amenities here include 10 tot lots, a catch and release pond, and nearly 10 miles of walking trails. Our very favorite thing, though, is also its best kept secret - HorsePen Run Wetland Nature Preserve. This 370 acres of protected land is for CountrySide residents’ and guests` enjoyment. Located roughly behind some of the nearby schools, the preserve is a true nature sanctuary, with 12 different trails of varying lengths. Outside of CountrySide, you`ll find all the amenities and attractions necessary for a great trip, like grocery stores, movie theaters, shopping, and dining. And of course, DC is just minutes away. Rental car is recommended. Lyft & Uber available in the area. The closest metro station is Reston, 13 miles away, or a 20 minute drive. It is the last Metro station in the Silver line IMPORTANT NOTE: CountrySide is a family-oriented community that prizes courtesy and quiet. For this reason, we can only invite family groups to any of our CountrySide properties. Additionally, because of past conflicts, we have had to enact a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for any violation of the either our noise or quiet hours (9:00PM - 8:00AM) policies. In order to be fair and impartial with this noise policy, we have installed NoiseAware in all of our CountrySide properties. This technology is similar to a smoke alarm, but instead detects noise over a pre-set decibel. We’ve added to our cleaning checklist to thoroughly disinfect all touch-points in the home. (Smart-lock keypad or lockbox, ALL door handles, cabinet handles). Our cleaning fee is typically higher than our competitors because we are proud to pay our cleaning staff a living wage and they always do an impeccable job for us. Read our reviews!! Hands-off check-in and check-out We are now allowing self-check-ins at all of our properties. We will require some information and phone contact with you before your arrival, but you will not see anyone in person at your vacation accommodation. There will be no surprise or unwanted visits. We understand that distance is essential during these times. Please note during the coronavirus outbreak: The building will only allow registered guests into the building, so there will be no guests allowed to visit that are not on the reservation.
