Secluded walled garden with tree lined avenue, 2kms from Clane village, 50 mins drive from Dublin city and airport , ideal base for touring Kildare,Wicklow and Dublin which is 50 minutes by bus to city centre.Ample free parking,private bathroom, dining and sittingroom with TV., microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Convenient for golfing, races, walking, Punchestown events, local weddings in Firmount House, nearby hotels such as the K Club,Barberstown Castle,The Westgrove and hotels in Naas. We have a large dormer bungalow set in a walled garden.This comfortable, bright bedroom with king size bed and lovely view of the garden is downstairs on ground floor. There is a private modern bathroom. Guest dressing gowns/ bath robes are provided. Sitting and dining room with a TV.,microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster is private to guests. Guests are welcome to access the front garden and tree lined avenue as well as the space above. At least one of us will be always at home.A selection of leaflets and information on local attractions are available to guests.We are happy to help in whatever way we can. We can recommend Cooke's Gastro pub and Fox and Hare restaurant in Caragh (10mins drive), Butt Mullin's restaurant in Naas ( 15 mins drive) also Rustic and Lawlor's hotel there. Lock 13 Gastro pub and Two Cooks restaurant in Sallins (10 mins drive).Macari's fish, chips and pizza takeaway in Clane, the New Peking Chinese takeaway and the Bombay Bistro Indian restaurant and takeaway in Clane. Donadea forest park and along the canal have beautiful walks. The space is conveniently located for racing in Naas, Punchestown and the Curragh,Mondello and Goff's. Also for weddings in the Westgrove Hotel, Firmount House, Barberstown Castle, K Club and hotels in Naas. It is best if guests have their own transport. We are 20 miles (33kms) from Dublin city centre and it takes just 50 minutes to get there. Taxi and car rental available. From the airport one can take a bus into the city centre to Busarus the central bus station and then take a number 120 bus to Clane where we will meet you at the stop beside Manzors pub. Otherwise one could take the green Dublin Coach bus from the airport to Naas town centre which is the 5th stop. This is faster and costs just 10 euros p.p. There is a taxi rank beside the bus stop and taxis are easily (Website hidden by Airbnb) is just a 15 minutes drive from there to our house and should cost about 20 euros. Two pet cats live on this property but do not access guest's areas.
