Lavender Cottage is a delightful period cottage situated in the heart of the picturesque Medieval market town of Clare, Suffolk. It is in walking distance of a supermarket, butchers, pubs, and a variety of independant shops and cafes. The cottage offers a blend of period features with modern finishes to create a stylish and comfortable home, providing you the perfect base to explore the surrounding areas. The cosy living room features a gas log effect stove and dining area. With comfortable beds, plenty of storage, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room and a courtyard garden to the rear, we hope we have provided all you need for a relaxing break. We offer a meet and greet service or provide a keysafe for your convenience. We live ten minutes away and can be available for any queries or any further information required. Clare is a magical town, full of modern day amenities but good old fashioned tradition. I love wandering around the vintage shops, gift shops and book shop followed by afternoon tea in one of the cafes which offer a good selection of home made fare. There is a market every third Saturday starting on the 21st March. The cottage is a few minutes drive away from the nine hole pay and play golf course and there are several National Trust properties to visit nearby. Infact there is plenty to do and see for all ages. There is a wide variety of walks you can do. Clare country park is on your doorstep and provides a good starting point.There is a local taxi and bus service.
