This Grade 2 listed property is situated in the heart of Manningtree, Essex. With a gated courtyard entrance, this cosy cottage has a large bedroom with fitted wardrobes, dressing table and a desk. Off the bedroom is a recently renovated shower room. Manningtree has plenty of restaurants, pubs and a variety of take-aways all within walking distance. The popular towns of Ipswich, Colchester and Harwich are all within a 20 minute drive, with plenty of things to do and see! With flagstone floors downstairs and wooden floorboards upstairs our homely cottage is full of character and great for your pet to come too! The lounge area has a rug which makes it cosy and warm to relax after a busy day exploring the area and the outside courtyard has got a table and chairs to soak up the sun. The whole of the property will be yours, with open plan throughout. The cosy lounge area is adjacent to the kitchen and the kitchen is stocked with all utensils you might need to make it your home from home. We're happy to recommend places in the local area to visit or eat at. We don't live at the property but are always on hand via phone should you need anything during your stay! Officially the smallest town in England, Manningtree has plenty of quaint shops and cafes that all add to it's charm. Set on the stunning River Stour with John Constable countryside surrounding it, Manningtree is idyllic in every way. Great for your four legged friends, ramblers, romantic getaway or just simply to explore the area, our home from home is the perfect retreat to see London, Essex and Suffolk in all its glory! There is street parking outside the property and several other parking areas around Manningtree. London - 50 minutes by train Colchester/Ipswich/Harwich - 10 minutes by train/20 minute drive Stansted Airport - 1 hour drive or 1.5 hours by local transport. Local attractions: Colchester Zoo, Colchester Castle, Harwich Pier, Ipswich waterside, Dedham Vale (5minutes) and Flatford Mill (5minutes). Access to the property is via a shared courtyard
