Miranda bar is a house with a very long tradition in tourism. Hospitality is our moto in family for five generations. Our bar is open every day from monday to sunday. At weekend the bar is open late at night.We also have a wine cellar with a wide range of good wines. In our house you can eat a good traditional slovenian food from local farmers (bio food). Our location is one step to beautiful nature. There you can take advantage of many bike tours, as well as hicking in nearby hills like Snežnik, Sviščaki, Vremščica ond much more. Close by we you can also take a visit to world famouse attractions, such as Postojna cave, Predjama castle, Lipica, biggest museum of military history and much more, that we will let you explore. Our biggest advantage is starting point for daily trips, like Ljubljana, Bled, Trieste and Croatian sea. They are only less then one hour drive away. Our house is well known for domestic atmosphere, good vine in more then 100 years old vine basement and excelent old tradicional Slovenian food. Food is prepared by your host Miranda. She is one of the most famouse host in Slovenia for the last 40 years. We also offer a bar, with a big teras where you can enjoy fine coffee, and in the evening and night you can relax with kind staff and good music. Guest always pay tourist taxs(1.25 eur),per pearson. Near to us is city Postojna (10 kilometres), there is world famous Postojna cave. From us you can drive 50 kilometres to mane city Ljubljana, 50 kilometres to Trieste, 50 kilometre to slovenian seaside Piran, 40 kilometres to Slovenian Tuscany -Goriska brda. From us to Postojna or other city you can use a bus or by train.
