Really lovely old holiday house with sea view

Our old holiday-house is located in the centre of Buckow. Situated in one of the most beautiful streets in the town, our guests are overlooking two lakes from both sides of the house (they're called Schermützelsee and Buckowsee). Buckow is a very lovely and quiet town! Relaxation is guaranteed. You'll enjoy the fresh country air and the woods around the town, which are perfect for long walks around the lake, for jogging, hiking, cycling or nordic walking. The old house offers lots of small rooms and spaces inside the house or in the garden, where couples or small groups as well as families and bigger groups will always find a private spot to read and relax. Although the house is rather spacious, even couples or groups of two or three people will feel very comfy and cosy in the house. You'll find a lot of reading corners, where you can relax with a good book. And if you have to finish a project or work a little: no problem at all! Our office offers a quiet space where you can close both doors and work away. One of the two living rooms on the main floor offers a beautiful, wooden piano and a guitar, bongos and percussion instruments. These instruments are only waiting for you to play a few songs or sing along. (Bring music sheets if you want to play something special!). The kitchen and both bathrooms are FULLY equipped. Wash all your sports gear and everything else in our high end washing machine . There is a dish washer in the kitchen, which is a HUGE help if you are travelling in larger groups or as a family. Also, the house offers an extra-big gas stove and a spacious fridge and a freezer. If you happen to be a passionate cook: this is your kitchen. It offers loads of pots and pans and all sorts of utensils for cooking and baking. There are even a few cooking books in the kitchen (Ottolenghi, Jamie Oliver, and so on). The oven is really big and the supermarket in town offers all cooking and baking-ingredients for a fresh bread or a lovely sunday roast. The terrace: The terrace behind the house is inviting our guests on warm summer days for long breakfasts in the garden. A wooden table and eight chairs offer neverending space for breakfast, long brunches or big barbecues. The small loggia in front of the house (next to our front door) is covered with a tiny roof. In the summer, this place offers shadow. And on rainy days or in the winter, this small corner in front of the house is the perfect place for reading a breathtaking crime novel or for sharing a nice piece of German cake from the bakery in town with your loved ones! (The bakery is baking fresh bread, bread rolls and all sorts of cake on a daily basis!). Our loggia offers a wonderful view of the Schermützel lake in all its different and breathtaking colour variations. Although our house isn't located directly at the lake, but you'll have a lovely view from here anyway! Fans of all sorts of sports will have to decide on a full range of outdoor activities. If you brought a bike, you can take it straight to the woods or to beautiful towns such as Neuhardenberg, Waldsieversdorf, Seelow, and so on.) Joggers will reach the forrest via Bertolt-Brecht-Strasse within three minutes maximum. The woods are great for nordic walking or long relaxed walks around the lake. In the summer time you'll find three (!) lakes directly in Buckow where you can go for a swim or rent a small boat and go fishing . Further lakes like the "Klobichsee" are also very close and can be reached by bike or car within a few extra minutes. This is important to us: Since Brian and I both have experienced in many, many AIRBnB-apartments the MOST AMAZING friendliness from so many different hosts all over the world, that we wanted to share this experience with you. That's why we are not cleaning out ALL our stuff before you arrive. You'll have full access to all our instruments, books, the TV, our records and the record player, our office, our kitchen and all the kids toys. Our lawn in the garden offers lots of space for picnics, for fun with water pistols and there is even a large trampolin in the back of the garden! For smaller kids we offer a small sand pit, a swing and a tiny (air) pool. You'll have FULL access to all rooms and areas in and around the house. You'll be the only guests in the house during your stay.
