Aurora Hut is the year-round window to your arctic nature experience. Perfect in winter for viewing the northern lights, or in summer to experience the midnight sun. Our year-round accommodation in the Aurora Hut is ideal for your once-in-a-lifetime holiday to the spectacular arctic. The Aurora Hut is located a short walking distance to our Wilderness Dining Hall where you will be served a continental breakfast (included during high season; or breakfast bag in low season). Inside your Aurora Hut, a compact kitchenette allows you to self-cater for your other meals while enjoying the views outside. Tea and coffee-making facilities are included and we are sure you’ll enjoy the sound system and free wifi. Regulated internal heating keeps the Aurora Hut at a comfortable temperature year-round. Although there is a small eco-toilet inside the Aurora Hut, we recommend using the toilet facilities at the dining hall. Aurora Camp is located 12km from the centre of Kiruna. It is in a unique and secluded location by the Torne River, surrounded by the beautiful forest. There is no public transport to Aurora Camp We offer FREE on-site parking. There is no public transport but you can book a transfer with us at any time for 600 SEK/minivan one way (1-8 guests). Otherwise, in WINTER (15NOV-15MAR) we offer two standard transfers per day for 150 SEK per person. (Aurora Camp to Kiruna City Centre 11:00am. Kiruna City Centre to Aurora Camp 16:30.) Please note: All transfers must be pre-booked.
