Eco countryhouse with veggie catering

A spacious wooden eco concious house, who offers vegeterean or vegan meals. No need to cook during your stay! The house is surrounded by a flower garden. In front a typical Dutch windmill at the river. The house is located in the middle of Holland, you can enjoy nature. With lots to do near or on the water like hiking/ biking, there is a canoo and waterbike. But also easily seek the buzz of the main cities; Amsterdam and Utrecht within a 30 min. car ride, The Hague -Rotterdam within 45 min. The house; This country house has a big bright living room, including a large dining room table. There is a kitchenette with a dishwasher, fridge and microwave to heat up meals. There is free use of coffee and tea. The house has 3 bedrooms with 2 boxspring beds in each room. 1 Bedroom is downstairs and the other 2 rooms can be reached with spiral stairs. These stairs can be less suitable for small children or less abled individuals. The bathroom has a shower incl. soap, shampoo and towels. To make your stay a true holiday it would be my pleasure to cook meals for you! I can offer you two kinds of packages *The daily special which is every day a different main course for diner completed with a salade ( just diner 12,50p.p.) and in the morning a breakfast ( 8.- p.p. ) as a dealpackage together for € 17,50 *Or I will take you on a culinary world trip. With a starter, the main course is a plate with a variety of different dishes and a sweet dessert ( just diner € 29,50 p.p.). The breakfast is a nutricious feast.( 13,50 p.p.)In consultation with you, I will make it a personal menu for you and your group. This can be either vegetarian and vegan. As a package deal together € 39.-You can expand this deal with a lunch or a picknick basket € 55.- The meals can be paid before your checking out. If you prefer to take care of your meals yourself, this is also possible. Keep in mind that the kitchen does not have a stove, but there is a microwave. The kitchen has a fridge, dishwasher, sink, kettle, coffee machine, plates, glasses and cutlery. Do not bring your own cooking gear, as it is not permitted to cook ! -You can use our BBQ for free, or ask for our outdoor electric grill (€ 5 per stay). To do: -There is free use of a canoo ( 4 pers.) and 2 waterbikes. -We reccomend to take a dip into the river. There is a deck with swimmingladder. -Hiking/biking; right from your doorstep you can the surrounding,There are several maps in the house to give you suggestions for tours to make. -There are multiple board games to have fun with. - To spent time with eachother we didn't put a tv in the house. (On request we can install one for you. We ask a fee for the installation and the subsricption( € 7.50 per stay) -There is free wifi. - We have 2 bikes you can use. -With nice weather you can eat outside in the garden or at one of the terraces. With the owner’s permission you can build a campfire. A wheelbarrow filled with wood for a campfire is available for € 10.- Good to know, we are eco conscious : - Our electricity comes from solar panels - We make use of eco vegan cleaning equipment and products - Towels and bedlinen are fair-trade and non-bleached - Garbage is separated and recycled - The house is heated by heatpump in the living room. In cold weather and under the right circumstances we can light the soapstone fireplace for you, to increase the cozy athmosphere - There are no animal products in he house like leather or down. BABY'S: Are very welcome. We see them as guests. There for we ask a fee for their stay. € 10.- per night. ( which you can pay before checking out)This covers the costs of making a bed, disposal of diapers ( we have to pay for garbage non recycible), use of towels, electricity, water. Keep in mind that there are no safety precautions in the house. There is a bed, chair and babyphone. *** Do you have plans to use the house other than recreational accommodation? Please contact us before booking, there are extra conditions*** We live in the main house on the same yard. We like to share our garden with you. So feel free to walk around and enjoy the beautifull flowers, play on the grass, lie in the hammock or sit on one of the terraces, sit on the waterfront deck or dive in the river. Because we live nextdoor you have easy excess for information, questions or just a chat. There are two dogs ( gentle, but watchful) that have their own big yard behind the fences which is not accesible for guests. The house is surrounded by nature, the river and the preserved meadows. It is a short walk to the lakes from Nieuwkoop and allso close to the lakes of Vinkeveen. This area is known for great hiking and cycling, there are several maps in the house to give you suggestions for tours to make. Woerdense Verlaat is a small village; shops, supermarket, farmacy, restaurants etc. are in 5 km distance -Riverfront, birdwatching nature in the back, windmill - Close to lakes and nature reserves - Biking- canoe- swimming- walking- waterbike( there are multiple routes) - Multiple cities close by to visit Amsterdam- Utrecht- Gouda- Woerden- Den Haag- Rotterdam - Keukenhof, castle Haarzuilens, flowerauction On our yard there is space to park your car(s). Public transportation; busstop 1.5 km- staton 8 km. Airport Amsterdam 18 km. On request we can arrange transportation( payed) We have two bikes to rent. - Free parking - On request transportation to airport or station -busstop 1.5 km, trainstation 8 km, supermarket 5 km Check in begins at 15.00 and checking out is untill 11.00. A early check starting from 13.00, or a late checkout untill 13.00 is possible when the calender allows it. Extra charge will be € 20.-This will be known 4 days before your arrival.
