Welcome to our cozy cottage! What started as an ultra-modern concept in the 1970s is now a completely renovated project! In addition to an ever-changing view of the Viroin valley, the completely renovated cottage also offers peace and quiet on the edge of the old orchard. The cottage has its own private garden, with patio! Book our 2nd house O'Noire with friends or family, together and yet separately! Kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, ... the ideal holiday destination! At the front of the bungalow you can enjoy the early sunshine on the wooden terrace. The south-facing private garden at the back offers cozy corners to relax around the fire pit. A BBQ is at your disposal. The owners often reside on the domain itself and are therefore always available to answer all questions. The authentic Ardennes village of Treignes is a three-minute walk away. There is a beautiful church with next to it a cozy village café, Le Montjoie. Ideal for a terrace but also for a tasty meal! In the small supermarket you can go for all your groceries every day of the week. For supermarkets you can go to Nismes (Okay) or Couvin. Also just across the border in Vireux and Givet you can go to the Intermarché, and all this at a maximum of 15 km. At a distance of 3.5 kilometers you drive across the French border, where you can find the tastiest baguettes in the world. Choice of 3 bakeries ... It is possible to kayak (rental in the Montjoie), also vtt and other bicycles for rent in the region. Along the Meuse (Voie Verte) possibility for flat bike rides ... There are 4 museums in the village, so there is always something to do even when it rains. Especially the railway museum with the steam train is a crowd puller! Walking routes are plentiful, always starting from the church, including in all the surrounding villages. There is private parking next to the bungalow. You can travel by steam train to Mariembourg, and from there take public transport. There is also a bus to Couvin, where there is a train station. Public transport is not very present in this region. the 5th bed in the small room is a bunk bed and can only be used by a child under 12 years old
