The Outhouse

Welcome to ‘The Outhouse’ With its own separate entrance and parking on a private driveway we have converted an outbuilding into a great place to stay! ** please note: whilst ‘The Outhouse’ has its own entrance and is very much separate from our home it is still adjoined. Therefore we ask that guests are aware and considerate of this! Many thanks ** Downstairs you will find a kitchen and lounge area, with sky TV, microwave, fridge etc and upstairs we have a double bed with ensuite toilet and bathroom. It’s compact but full of character! Guests will also have access to our laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier. We have two lovely pubs within walking distance. The Hen and Chickens is at the end of the lane and The Crown is opposite the cricket pitch and Ley Hill common. Chesham Tube station is a 20 minute walk and Chesham high street offers various shops/ cafes and a Waitrose and Sainsbury’s. Guests have access to the laundry room with iron and ironing board, private driveway and loads of glorious countryside to explore! Please let us know if you will require parking for more than one car. We are close by if you need anything at all but will keep out of the way and let you enjoy your stay The Outhouse is very private and tucked away behind a row of 17th century cottages. We have the benefit of being very close to London but with the added bonus of being right in the heart of the Chiltern countryside. Chesham tube station a 5 minute drive away, but we are also very close to Chalfont and Latimer station which offers diesel trains to Marylebone every 20 minutes. This gets you into London within half an hour! We are also only a 20 minute drive to junction 8/9 on the M1 and a 15 minute drive to Junction 18 on the M25. Taxis are readily available locally and offer great access to local towns such as Berkhampsted, Amersham and Beaconsfield. All of these places offer a great selection of bars, restaurants and pubs.
