After soaking in the ensuite bathtub (large enough for two adults), you'll rest peacefully on the super king Themopedic mattress. The ensuite bathroom also has a shower and a bidet. The downstairs guest bedroom with ensuite also offers comfortable sleeping for two with its super king mattress and cozy ambience. If work is unavoidable during your stay or you just want to come to work, then a custom-fitted office with workspace for two is available. The office also has a Ligne Rose sofa that quickly lays flat to a standard size bed which sleeps two comfortably. The open-planned kitchen, dining room and front room with fireplace will make you want to stay inside on a cold day with a crackling fire, good bottle of wine and home-cooked meals made from the multiple fresh food sources in the area. If cooking isn’t your thing there are also numerous restaurants in the area as well as several delivery/takeout options. The media room is equipped with a large Samsung LED TV, Sonos surround sound stereo system and blu-ray dvd player. There is Sky TV and movies can be rented at cost from Sky. The sectional sofa seats 6 comfortably so that everyone has a good view of the TV! The front terrace is a wonderful place for relaxing, entertaining or sunbathing. Every space in the house is accessible. Additional fees are applied depending on number of bedrooms used. We have assumed 2 guests per room when adding the additional fee of £50 per person after 2, which is all we have control of during instant booking on Airbnb. However, if 2 people would like to visit and use 2 bedrooms or 3-4 wish to visit and use 3 bedrooms, then please reserve and we will let you know the additional cost per room. Someone will always be there to greet you and give you an introduction to the house! We will also be available by phone during extended business hours. Emergency numbers are posted at the house. The house is semi-secluded, bordered by a land preserve and a country road. Close by is the Royal Military Canal, with pathways for biking, running, horseback riding and glimpses of the animals in the Port Lympne Wildlife Park. After a fun stroll through the countryside be sure to hit the nearby brewery, Unit Number One, for some local crafted beer and food. The house is a few miles from junction 11 of the M20 and is easily reached by car. The journey time from central London is approximately an hour and a half by automobile. It can also be reached from London by high-speed services departing from London St. Pancras or Stratford International getting you to Ashford International in 37 or 30 mins respectively. The house is approximately 20 minutes from Ashford International. Train services also exist from Charing Cross and Waterloo East to Ashford International. The nearest local station is two miles away at Westenhanger which is 10 minutes from Ashford International. Taxi services are also readily available for those nights where you plan on drinking one too many! Breakfast food and beverages will be available to cover your first morning. Various other snacks and beverages will be around as well! If you would like to use the garage a remote will be provided. We also have a two-person kayak upon request. It requires two people to carry up and down the hill to put in the canal. There is also parking at the canal if you have a vehicle that could transport it. Please keep in mind both are deductible from the deposit should they be lost or damaged.
