Our camp is 5km from the famous village of M'hamid. Staying at our camp gives you the opportunity to watch breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, lose your self in the silence and peacefulness of the Sahara, rest soundly in Berber tents, as well as enjoy nighttime campfires with traditional music, excellent traditional dinners, and filling breakfasts. You will also have the chance to join one of our desert tours run by our experienced team. You can sleep in either traditional nomadic tents or traditional daub (adobe) houses. The houses have electricity thanks to solar panels, and there is running water for showers and toilets. The price that we offer is for the accommodation in a bivouac (traditional daub tent). It includes breakfasts and tea on demand. Dinner is available for an extra cost (generally ~€ 6-8/person depending on market prices). We also offer guests tours into the desert with knowledgeable and experienced local guides. The price of the excursions depends on the options chosen (duration, destination, means of transport, number of people, food, etc.). √ Toilet/shower with running water √ WiFi √ Outlets powered by solar panels √ Desert tours w/ 4x4 vehicle or camels We love sharing our unique culture and way of life in the desert. The camp is open all the time! MHamid is the last town before the Sahara desert begins. It is full of opportunities to deeply engage with the desert. Clean sheets and blankets are provided and can be cleaned again on demand. You will need towels, torch, sunglasses, sun cream, and for the excursions: tissues, closable bags to protect your electronics from the sand, mineral water, and warmer clothes for the nights. On site you can buy a scarf called a "chache" to protect your head from the sun. All nomads bear it. You can come at any time of year, but if you are not used to hot countries, it is best to avoid summer because the temperature can climb up to 50 Celsius degrees. Your host Anna can share his internet connection with you, or you can go to one of the two cybercafes of the village. Good to know also: there are cats in the Camp. Bring warm clothes for the cold nights!
