The Carter's Loft

Situated deep in the Suffolk countryside, The Carter's Loft is a beautifully presented studio bursting with charm. The popular local pub (White Horse) offers good food and local beer. There are numerous footpaths on the doorstep, a community cafe selling homemade cakes and refreshments (open (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Tues - Thurs and 1st Sunday of the month) plus our local vineyard. We are close to historic Framlingham and within easy reach of the heritage coast. The space is a quirky, well designed and comfortable studio apartment with a separate shower room. The main, open plan, room offers a wonderful king size bed, eating area and cosy sofa. Outside is a terrace with table and chairs and steps down to the driveway which gives off-road parking. There is a smart tv and wifi access. The fitted kitchen has a fan oven and microwave. There is a hair dryer, clothes airer and iron there is a private drive and entrance to The Carter's Loft. The area under The Carter's Loft is a private space storage for the main house but please feel free to use the space under the decking for sheltering your bicycles. We welcome our guests and are on hand to offer help if needed. We are tucked away from the hustle and bustle in a beautiful and quiet village but are within easy reach of shops, theatres, concert halls, cinemas and restaurants. There are some lovely walks right on the doorstep and a cycle route nearby. Its easy to get to the coast; Aldeburgh, Southwold, Minsmere, Dunwich are all within 30 minutes drive. The public transport is sporadic but buses to Ipswich regularly leave from Framlingham or from Halesworth if you want to go to Norwich. The nearest railway station is 15 mins away at Darsham that has a line through to London.
