A wonderful and comfortable ground floor barn conversion for four, Flower Barn is part of a larger complex of 5 barns. Please note that from the 13th September 2022, it will not be possible to book the barns individually. Goodlake Barns will only be bookable as a full site. Flower Barn is a light and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom self catering cottage which is arranged over one level. Offering luxurious and comfortable accommodation, it has been lovingly converted and retains much of the character and charm of the original stone barn. The barn is part of the Goodlake Barns, so multiple barns can be booked to accommodate a larger group if required. The market town of Faringdon is just 3 miles away and caters for most everyday shopping needs and there is a wide range of places to visit nearby. LIVING Open-plan kitchen/living area featuring original beams plus underfloor heating. Large glass doors open out in to the courtyard and allows light to flood in. Kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob and oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, cooking utensils and dining table for 6 guests. Two comfortable sofas are arranged around the Smart TV (with DVD player) and wooden coffee table. WiFi can be found throughout the property. BEDROOMS Bedroom 1: Double bed with bedside tables, chest of drawers and mirror. The bedroom has a en-suite shower room, with enclosed shower, loo, sink and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2: Twin with wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and mirror. Family bathroom with bath (no shower), wc, sink, large mirror and heated towel rail. OUTSIDE Huge enclosed communal courtyard with outdoor seating available for guests to use, plus a large garden to the back of The Barn. There is plenty of parking on site but we do ask that you car share where ever possible. Set between two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Goodlake Barns offers guests the best of the Cotswolds and the best of the North Wessex Downs as well as the Uffington White Horse practically on your doorstep! Access to each property is via a key safe. The key safes are located in the reception room on the left hand side as you enter the courtyard. Flower Barn is situated in the picturesque Oxfordshire village, located in the Vale of the White House with magnificent views across the Vale to the Uffington White Horse and the Berkshire Downs. You can find a range of amenities including supermarkets, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants and a select few shops, just 3 miles away in Faringdon. . While you are here don't forget to visit; The Cotswold Wildlife Park, Blenheim Palace, the historic town of Burford, Broadway Tower, Folly Tower and the Cotswold Water Park to name a few! There is a fantastic authentic English country pub located 2 miles down the road in the village of Fernham called the Woodman arms, they use freshly-prepared, seasonal ingredients to create wholesome, hearty and delicious meals to delight the senses! Bed linen and towels are provided Infant friendly - there is 1 travel cot and 1 highchair available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as these are not provided) Sorry, pets are not allowed Parking is available for 1 car per barn in the courtyard, with additional overspill parking nearby Good WiFi in the barn Smart TV Mobile reception TBC The barns share an enclosed communal courtyard space There are table and chairs in front of the barn A BBQ is available for the barn complex, please be considerate of other guests. Please note that coal is only supplied to guests between 1st April – 30th September. Things to Note... Events are not permitted without prior consent Check in is from 16:00 & Check out is by 10:00 The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
