This is an inviting 4 bedroom villa sleeping 6 persons plus a large completely separate annexed loft type bedroom that sleeps 2, great for teenagers wanting privacy in the annexed part of the villa grounds/garden area. Casa Stella is located in the peaceful village of (Ano) Vouves in western Crete. The villa has commanding views of the rolling hills and down towards the Gulf of Chania and is only 200mt from a local landmark – the famous olive tree of Vouves which is reckoned to be one of the oldest in the world, estimated at 3000 years old. Vouves sits in the verdant hills just a few kilometres inland from the coast road from where within a short drive there is a choice of resorts which vary from quiet to the hub of hustle and bustle, and beaches that vary from sandy to pebbly/stony. The ground floor has an open plan kitchen/living/dining area as well as a WC. The fully equipped kitchen has a coffee machine, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, 4 cooking rings (gas), microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, iron & ironing board, and utensils. The dining area seats 6, and this leads into the living area which has 2 sofas, a coffee table, 2 easy chairs, a fireplace, hammock, bookcase, stool, relax chair, TV, DVD player, and a Hi-Fi stereo unit. Doors open on to a large veranda which is partly covered and has impressive views down towards the Gulf of Chania. It is furnished with a dining table & chairs for 8 persons, a couple of hammocks, and various seating options. Stairs lead from the living area to the upper floor to a bedroom with a double bed and another with twin beds, as well as a bathroom with a bath with a hand held shower. Doors open on to a wonderful covered furnished terrace with fabulous views. Stairs lead from the passage way to a third open plan loft bedroom with twin beds, and a wooden beamed ceiling, a table and a chair, and a door opens on to a fabulous private furnished veranda. Behind the villa is a building with an open kitchen area with a wood burning oven and BBQ, and also a bathroom with a shower behind. Another covered space houses table-tennis and a darts board. Steps leads down to the superb 60sqm pool with walk-in steps with a Jacuzzi as well as gym runner. Superb views are to be had from the pool sun terrace which is partly tiled and partly covered wooden decking. It is furnished with an outdoor lounge sofa, sunbeds & umbrellas, sun chairs and a relax chair, and there is also a shower by the pool. Smoking indoors is not allowed.
