Comfortable warm double room close to Pride Park

We live in a lovely 4 bed detached house, with a double garage which has plenty of parking space. You will receive a warm welcome on arrival and rest assured that our home is a warm, comfortable & relaxed household. You will be staying in a comfortable beautifully decorated double bedroom with your own TV. However we are a sociable couple so please feel free to come and have a chat with us anytime during your stay if you wish. Our property is in a peaceful residential area. We live in a quiet location right on the edge of a big park, our neighbours are friendly. It is in the heart of Derby City, close to Pride Park, the Velodrome, Derby Railway Station, the Town Centre and lots of other local amenities including University of Derby and Rolls Royce all within a 10 mins drive away from the property. Easy access to: A (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and East Midlands airport via Skylink. Guests can access the kitchen, dining room, the main bathroom and the bedroom they will be staying in. I work part time Monday to Friday early mornings so will be available for most of your stay. We live in a quiet neighbourhood close to a lovely park with a big pond that have lots of ducks, swans and geese. Lots of people fish and camp out for fishing competitions. A group of model boat enthusiasts get together regularly to whizz their boats around the pond. There is also a BMX track which the national championship's take place in the summer. There is a good kids play park/ exercise park and a lovely coffee shop which is reasonably priced. We live just a 10minute walk away from the Velodrome and Pride Park Stadium, so if you are a keen cyclist or a football fan this is a good location to be in. Getting around our local area is pretty easy if you like walking there are some good walking routes via a cycle path eg: to the town centre, Elvaston Castle and Swadlingcote; this can be accessed through the park. The local park has marked out walks which you can also take. We have good public transport links to get the city centre, the train station, the Airport and much more. The Airport is approximately a 20min drive away or half hour on a bus. Taxis in this area are also very reasonably prised. There are some local bars/restaurants within walking distance of around (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes by Pride Park. There are other shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways also walking distance or a short car distance away. Derby train station is also a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minute walk away or a 3-5min taxi drive away, which has links to places like Nottingham, Uttoxeter Races, Leicester etc.
