The Stable Door is an open plan studio lodge set in tranquil countryside & easy links to London and Stansted Airport. It has brand new fitted kitchen, bathroom, king size bed & double sofa bed. Ideal getaway for up to two adults & two children. Walking distance to station that gets you to the London Underground in 15mins or Stansted Airport in 30mins. Walking distance to Roydon Village with three pubs & Marina. Lots of great walks or cycles along river & through the nature reserves. A self contained wooden private lodge with kitchen and bathroom set in rural Hertfordshire an ideal space to get away from it all. There is access to the lodge across a shared drive. The lodge is built in part of our family garden and has its own patio area and small garden that is fenced off. The host is available nearby and can be contacted by phone or e-mail. Walking distance to Roydon Village with 3 pubs and a pizza restaurant aswell as a convenience store and pharmacist. Also a short drive to The historic towns of Ware and Hertford with lots of shops restaurants and cafes. There is private parking for two cars. There are great rail links to London or Stansted Airport from the local station just a 10 minute walk away. Great bike rides along the tow paths. There is also local boat hire available to travel along the canal. Please be aware there is no washing machine but a washing service can be offered at an additional cost. The television is only connected to the fire stick so live TV will need to be accessed through the relevant Apps ie BBC, ITV, CH4 & CH5
