This holiday lodge is a gorgeous property boasting 2 bedrooms and a spacious open plan living area with dining area for 4. The master bedroom includes a double bed with a shower en-suite and a second bedroom with one single bed and bunk beds. The lodge benefits from a wrap around decking perfect for outdoor dining. Minutes walk away from the heated outdoor swimming pool** which is open during the summer months (pool towels not supplied) and small club house**. There is an indoor pool at Hadleigh which is about a 20 minute drive. ( check opening times) . Ample parking available in front of the lodge. Situated on the Grange Country Park, surrounded by an AONB. It is ideally positioned for many fantastic days out. Maybe a cream tea at Flatford Mill, famous for it’s Constable landscapes; explore the burials at Sutton Hoo, as seen on The Dig or Alton Waters for the more adventurous guests, where bike hire and water activities are available. For those whom love to walk along side nature it is surrounded by many footpaths ideal for your morning walk or an evening stroll. For the younger guests, there is plenty of fun to be had. Why not visit Jimmy’s farm; a day crabbing at old Felixstowe or a roarsom visit to Colchester zoo. A bit further afield you can enjoy amazing days out at Bewilderwood and Roar Dinosaur Adventure. There really is something for everyone from castles - forts - UFO walks to steam trains. Nearby is the quaint village of East Bergholt, the well known birth place of John Constable. Here you can find a selection of pubs along with a well stocked convenience store. For those who love a bit of history, why not visit St Mary’s Church where you can view the 500 year old bell cage. With plenty of other exquisite villages to explore such as Dedham, Sudbury, Lavenham and Woodbridge you will be spoilt for choice.
