Kev, Carolyn, our daughter & our cat invite you to stay with us in our family home. You will have your own bedroom with Super King-size bed. You are welcome to share the rest of the house with us. We are in the heart of Poldark Country, a short walk from the South West coast path, over looking Geevor museum. Close to Lands End & the most south westerly village, St Just. Many popular beaches just a short drive away, some within walking distance. Your room is equipped with a luxury super king size bed for a comfortable and sound night's sleep. We use hotel quality crisp white cotton bedding for added comfort and luxury. The room is equipped with a TV . Enjoy the views across the rugged clifftops onto the Atlantic Ocean. On a clear day the Isles Of Scilly can be seen on the horizon. We get the most stunning sunsets. We are a short walk from the South West coast path The rest of the house is our family home which we share very willingly with you. The shared bathroom is kept immaculately clean and shared with consideration to your schedule and needs. There is a bath, powerful showerful and piping hot water, great after a hard days walking or at the beach. We provide some light breakfast items, tea, coffee and herbal teas. You are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare your own food. There is a spacious community garden in the front of the house to enjoy the sunshine and the sunsets. You will have your own bedroom, and please feel free to share the rest of the house with us. You will be free to come and go at your convenience with access at any time. We will be here to welcome you within the agreed check in times (5pm-10pm) if you need to arrive at other times, please message us. We invite you to share our home as house guests. We are happy to interact as much or as little as you'd like, hang out with us or have privacy in your room. We lead busy lives so may not always be at home throughout your stay but will always be contactable. We are happy to help with any questions that you may have before and during your stay, we have a thorough local knowledge. We are in the heart of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site and an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From your room you will see the more modern tin mine Geevor Museum and the older workings of Higher Bal and Levant. These are all against the stunning backdrop of the North Atlantic Coast. Two popular beaches are a short drive or a beautiful walk away, with many more beaches in the locality. This area is popular with tourists, so there are many places of interest locally that you might like to visit. Our home is located at the edge of the settlement of Lower Boscaswell on the outskirts of the village Pendeen. Pendeen has several pubs and restaurants, a fish and chip shop, and a village shop which is open until 8pm. The nearest train station is Penzance and the airport is Newquay. There's a regular bus service A17, and an open top bus in high season. the timetable is here: (Website hidden by Airbnb) During the summer months the open top bus number A3 stops a few minutes walk from the house. The journey to St Ives is breathtaking from the bus. The closest stop is "PENDEEN Boscaswell Estate". We will try to assist in transfers and collections where possible, contact us for further details. We are able to provide advice on places to visit to help make the most of your stay. We offer WiFi and Freeview television in the room. We understand the challenges of travelling and if there is anything we can help with, from station transfers to use of the washing machine please ask, we will accommodate where possible.
