Unless required you will not be disturbed by them, they will attend for grass cutting occasionally in summer but will usually fit this around guests. We live in England but can be contacted if necessary. The cottage is situated in a hamlet of a very few houses above the small town of Mortain, that has a few restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool in summer. It is not ‘touristy’ but has everything you would need. It is a rural farming area but is not isolated and has ease of access to all that Normandy had to offer. Fabulous views, empty roads, pretty towns and villages. 40km from Le Mont St Michel that can be seen on a clear day from the view point a minutes walk from the cottage. 20 minutes from a fabulous Wednesday market at St Hilaire Du Harcouet. Sit on the terrace with wine, cheese and a baguette listen to the birds, bees, cows and sheep nearby, watch the world go by slowly and completely unwind. There is a step out of the second bedroom on to the top of the stairs, Carr should be taken if less mobile or with children. Safety gates are available.
