The Studio at Hoo Lodge, Laverton near Broadway

The guest suite Studio at Hoo Lodge provides cosy accommodation for two in the tranquil village of Laverton, near Broadway. Parking just outside, single step to enter. Forming one end of Hoo Lodge, our barn conversion home, the Studio is our guest suite and when closed off, provides self-catering accommodation for two with private access (door through to main house utility hall closed off and sound insulated for guest privacy). We have designed the studio to give the experience we look for when we stay in holiday accommodation – well equipped, comfortable and cosy making it easy to relax from the moment you enter. The Studio comprises one large room with shower room. There is a small step up through the double doors and everything else as at the same level. The Studio is accessed by guests from our spacious drive area which was once the farm yard, you can park right outside the Studio directly next to the patio area. There are lots of walks from the door. A bus service passes the end of the village but isn't very frequent. Nearest rail stations with taxi's are Evesham or Moreton in Marsh. We would recommend the cottage best suits those with own transport. We are normally around and will greet you if possible - we use a key safe if not. We are happy to give advice on places to visits, eat and drink. If you need anything just give us a shout. Laverton is a quiet, no through road, village a half mile off the B4632 and around 2 miles south of the bustling village of Broadway. There are footpaths over and around the hillside across to Broadway or it is five minutes away by car. There is a village ‘library’ in an old phone box so plenty of reading material available. The village is ideally located to access the best of the Northern Cotswolds and the Vale of Evesham. There are many walks you can take direct from the door and a bus passes the end of the village. We would recommend travel to Laverton by car, though buses pass by the village between Broadway and Cheltenham they aren't frequent. Keen cyclists may want to bring bikes as a way to visit the area, bearing in mind there are hills. Nearest rail stations with taxi services are Moreton-in-Marsh or Evesham. Tesco, Morrisons and Waitrose will all deliver to the village. In addition to the main amenities we can provide freezer space and washing machine / tumble dryer access. If you bring bikes, you can put them in our lockable outbuildings.
