Lower Farm, Snipe King Size Double or Twin Room

Lower Farm is a traditional Bed and Breakfast in the charming North Norfolk village of Harpley. We offer 3 double rooms in our Georgian Farmhouse, which is brimming with character and period features. Harpley is ideally situated for those who wish to explore the fantastic North Norfolk Coast, walk the Peddars Way, visit the numerous National Trust properties close by such as Houghton Hall, Sandringham House and Holkham Hall. We are surrounded by fantastic pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes! The two main bedrooms at Lower Farm are very large and spacious with floor to ceiling sash windows looking out over the stunning established gardens. Snipe has either a Kingsize double or twin with an ensuite bathroom. I can add an extra put-up bed to accommodate a third guest. There is ample parking space in the front drive. Each bedroom has two comfortable armchairs so you can relax in comfort and enjoy the complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits that are provided. Each room has a flat screen TV, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, fridge and kettle. Breakfast is taken in the communal dining room so guests can pass on tips and advice on their favourite local sites and destinations. Children (and adults!) are also very welcome to use the trampoline in the large garden. There is seating outside and a barbecue is available for guest to use on request. Guests are personally greeted on arrival, and as it is our home we are on hand to help with any guest requests. We are surrounded by excellent gastro pubs and restaurants, all of which are children and dog friendly. The local pub the Rose and Crown is within walking distance and very popular with the locals, particularly on a Friday evening when you can always expect a lively ambiance! Steak night on a Tuesday and Curry night on a Thursday are also very popular. They also offer a take away menu that you can bring back to Lower Farm to enjoy in the comfort of your own room, we can provide cutlery and crockery if required! The rooms all have a small fridge with milk provided and you can keep your beer or wine chilled too! There is ample parking outside Lower Farm for several cars. There are several bus route options within walking distance, including the popular Coasthopper which is a great way to explore the spectacular North Norfolk Coast. Lower Farm is a working farm in a country village, so be prepared to embrace all the aspects of country life (don't be surprised to hear the owls in the garden at night!). The farm house is a listed traditional Georgian house built in the 18th century, so if you are looking for modern, sleek sophistication this may not be the place for you! However we can offer you a lot of character, a beautiful location, peace and quiet, personal service and a 5 star breakfast in grand surroundings!
