A stunning, newly converted holiday let, set in the historic village of Escomb, 2 miles from Bishop Auckland. The Stables Holiday Let is a beautifully converted stone barn loft accessed by an exterior spiral staircase and with views over the farm and Wear Valley. It is light, spacious and comfortable with a wood burning stove for winter stays. You are welcome to bring two dogs and a even a horse to stay in the nearbouring stable yard. This area has lots to offer and explore! A unique barn loft conversion with stunning views of the Wear Valley. Open plan but plenty of room to sleep 5. One king size bed, one double bed, one single pull out bed, plus a cot bed. Airy and light with a wood burning stove to enjoy on colder nights. Outdoor seating area available to enjoy the views and summer sunsets. Any problems, we are available on site to assist. Lovely Weardale and Wear Valley. Towns of Bishop Auckland, Darlington, Barnard Castle, Richmond, beautiful villages. Castles galore! Anglo Saxon Church in village. Lovely walks and lots to see and do! Nice places to eat. Car or by bus to nearby Bishop Auckland. Access is by a spiral staircase.
