Offering WIFI and/or Ethernet, our home is a popular work-from-home location. This very spacious, mid-century modern house has been in our family for more than 60 years. Restoration and improvements have made the house a lovely and comfortable place to be for short or long-term stays. The property is located in a small-farm community, on a very quiet street that lies next to Whipple Creek forest area. Depending on the season, deer, coyotes and many bird species are commonly seen and/or heard. A peaceful place with lots of fresh air! (Our home has always been cleaned and sanitized, with detail in all areas, and an air purifier used, between each guest stay.) The main floor of this three-story home is available for guests. More than 1,500 feet, it includes the master and bunk-bed bedrooms, full kitchen, bathroom with both tub and separate shower, dining room and living room. There is a lovely patio accessed through glass-sliding doors in the dining room. The front door and patio each have 2-step stairs, making them very easy for all ages to access. The utility room is located in our daylight basement, with washer, dryer, drying racks and a new water treatment system. This is the only room intended for guest use in the basement area. The basement door leads to a large backyard. All yard ares are available to guests. The upstairs floor is not part of this lodging. I can be here to greet you when you arrive, show you the house, and answer any questions you may have. Electronic keypad on front door allows you to enter independently. This is a country-side, agricultural neighborhood, a small-farm community. Neighbors are close, but there is lots of space between houses, creating a lot of privacy. Very quiet and peaceful. Neighborhood farming acreage in the area is nicely maintained. Public transportation available at NW 134th street entrance/exit. Independent transportation is recommended for this property. The upstairs floor is not part of this lodging. Our water source is a deep-water well; a new water treatment system is located in the utility room along with new water heater, new washer, and a dryer. The kitchen has a portable dishwasher. We love our vintage furniture, and keep it clean and well-maintained, but understand others may not. If modern-day furniture and fixtures is your preference, please choose a different Airbnb listing. Guest has independent use of the main floor and utility/laundry room in the house and lawn areas. Hosts maintain yard and lawn; these areas are shared when owners are present.
