As well as communal gardens to the front of the cottage and a grassed area to the side, the perfect place for a morning coffee or a spot of yoga, Garden Wall Cottage has a private back garden (complete with hot tub) for the ultimate peaceful spot to watch the sun go down, with a glass in hand. Built into the garden wall of Great Snoring’s Manor House, and on the site of an ancient orchard, Garden Wall Cottage is ideal as a romantic couple’s get-a-way, or for a small family and the style and comfort of this hideaway won’t disappoint. Two double bedrooms with bespoke beds are the perfect place to recharge the batteries and truly relax. Great Snoring was so named (in 1611) because it was such a peaceful village, and thankfully not much has changed today. Situated six miles inland, Garden Wall Cottage occupies a quiet and serene corner of Great Snoring and is a thirty minute walk to the local pub in East Barsham, serving fine ales and great food, as well as a divine Sunday roast. Great Snoring is just a fifteen minute drive from the popular coastal resort of Wells-next-the-Sea, with its independent shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, fabulous quay and stunning beach. Five minutes in the car and you are at Great Walsingham’s award-winning pie shop and café, two village pubs and farm shop. Ground Floor: Entrance in to open-plan sitting/ dining/ kitchen area Sitting/ dining area Large sofa and arm chair around exposed brick fireplace with electric wood burning stove, Smart television and antique dining table with black farmhouse chairs next to the open staircase. Kitchen Double height kitchen, exposed beams, shelving, Denby crockery and high-end cookware, electric oven and hob, combi microwave, small dishwasher, fridge, ice box/freezer, Alexa blue-tooth speaker, breakfast bar with stool and stable door to the enclosed back garden. Bedroom two With 4'6" double bed from The Original Bed Company, ercol chair, make up wall mirror and full length fitted wardrobe. First Floor: Master bedroom With high set, 5' king size bed, Smart television, antique furniture, hanging rail, drawers and suitcase bench. Single, trundle bed underneath the main bed can be set up on request for a fifth sleeper. Bathroom With a Bristan shower over the bath, wash basin, WC and Rointe heated towel rail. Outside: Fully enclosed, paved courtyard garden with night time lighting, table and chairs, outdoor sofa and five-seater Jacuzzi hot tub. The garden is finished with country planting and a large heritage apple tree. There are communal gardens to the front of the cottage and a grassed area to the side of Garden Wall Cottage. Cart shed style garage for private parking for one car and visitor spaces on site and across the road. Additional Information: Children welcome. Travel cot and stair gate available on request. Up to two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Use of the five-seater Jacuzzi hot tub is charged at £150 per weekly/ 7+ days booking - it is not available for short stays. Children must be supervised in the hot tub at all times. The cottage benefits from super fast fibre broadband (up to 70MB). Duvets and pillows are synthetic (allergen free microfibre).
