Varazdin is one of the top continental destinations in Croatia, visited daily by tourists from New Zealand to Canada and you are very lucky it's within a stone's throw! *The village of Seketin is located on the top of a hill, with fantastic views of the Varaždin valley. It is a quiet and peaceful place, home to hardworking people who still grow organic fruits and veggies in their orchards and gardens, keep animals, and make their own wine in this hilly, wine covered area. *The house is located in the middle of the village, which offers you peace of mind, knowing you are surrounded by neighbours (Maja's parents and brother live across the street, should you need help with the fireplace or tips getting around). However, the lush garden offers a complete privacy – you are completely out of anyone's sight while enjoying the pool area! * Maja's village house is a newly built, 200 square metres large, fully-equipped vacation home suitable for a family with two kids or two couples that can share the living/dining area, the kitchen and a bathroom located on the ground floor. *There are a few spots where you can enjoy the peace, read a book or have a cup of coffee: the winter garden full of plants and flowers, the wooden swing in the garden, the tent-covered lounge area on the terrace overviewing the pool, the cool and shady porch area. *Your kids will love all the bloated toys and matresses they can use in the pool, the trampoline, the sandpit and the view of the neighbour's horse and the cow. *Don't feel like cooking? A renowed, family-owned restaurant serving delicious local specialties and good wines (famous for baby lamb and suckling pigs) is only a three minute ride away!
