Dijon Annexe

Located in small historic open field village of Laxton The newly refurbished double room with en-suite & kitchenette is in an annex, which is separate to the main house. Some Pets will be allowed subject to prior arrangement Charming newly refurbished annexe separate from the main house, set within established, peaceful gardens. The room consists of a new double bed, a new tv with built in dvd, an easy chair, a desk with a lamp & mirror above & chair, a hairdryer, an open storage / hanging space, ironing board & iron. Leading off from the bedroom area is the en-suite, which consists of a new shower & enclosure, a vanity sink with a storage cabinet & mirror above, a toilet & a towel warming rail. Also leading off from the sleeping area is the kitchenette, which consists of a sink, a fridge, storage cupboards, a microwave oven , a kettle, & a toaster. Guests will be supplied with bedding, extra pillows if required, towels, soap, shampoo & conditioner, crockery, cutlery and also tea, coffee & sugar, Guest will have sole use of the annex during their stay, and also the use of the patio & outdoor furniture. Parking is free either on the roadside or the driveway. The only thing that is shared, is the driveway, as it is the pedestrian access route to Dijon Annex & also the main house. Laxton is a small rural village, mainly owned by the Crown & Thoresby estates. Ideal base for exploring the surrounding area by car , bike or foot. Whether you are working or holidaying in the area, the towns & cities of Lincoln, Newark, Retford & Southwell are all within easy reach. If on the other hand it is quiet open spaces that you long for, then, Sherwood Forest, Clumber park [ National Trust ], Thoresby & Rufford parks are all your doorstep. The area also offers a wealth of well stocked garden centres & a couple of truly indulgent ice cream parlours. Laxton itself boasts the award winning Dovecote Inn which is only a two minute walk away and also the Holocaust museum & visitors centre, [ thought provoking, but well worth a visit ] about a mile outside the village. We would recommend that guests use their own transport to enable them to get the best out of their stay, as public transport is sparse . Continental style breakfast is included at no extra cost. Pets will be considered by arrangement prior to booking.
