Independent living in the Surrey Hills

An independent unit accessed from a courtyard with parking. The 3 rooms comprise of a double bedroom, fully fitted kitchen/dining area (including a cooker, fridge and microwave) and shower room with wc. Excellent wifi but no TV. Suitable for singles or a couple. The kitchen includes a cafeteria and coffee. We leave out breakfast starter essentials, bread, butter, tea, milk, fruit juice, marmalade and cereal. Let us know if you have a problem with any of these items relating to allergies. The windows overlook a large Rhododendron garden, particularly spectacular in May/June, plus the covered area with abundant grapes on the vines in summer. Outside the annex there is a patio area with a small table and 2 chairs. Parking is off road and within the courtyard. Should you intend bringing more than one car please advise in advance. As a totally separate unit, guests are free to come and go. We are generally available but should we be out can be contacted on our mobiles. Should you require an iron, a fan and/or additional bedding they are available upon request. Local towns, Godalming and Chiddingfold, are 4 miles away, Guildford (with main shops, restaurants and theatres) 8 miles. We are also centrally placed for several local wedding venues including - Ramster Hall, Russets, Chichester Village Hall (Witley), Clock Barn Hall and Busbridge Lakes. There are many country pubs in our surrounding villages. Our local pub, The White Hart (which claims to be the oldest pub in Surrey) is a short walk across the adjacent recreation ground and is well renown for its beer, gin and whisky. Petworth House and park (NT) are a 15/20 minute drive. Also there are several local fishing lakes. Wormley is an excellent base for walkers. Close to the Greensand Way and the Devil's Punch Bowl at Hindhead, there are walks in all directions to various pubs. Maps with local walks will be available. Witley main station is a 20 minute walk away and there is also a bus service between Godalming and Wormley. Otherwise, unless you are a walker a car will be necessary. Cleaning. There is no charge for stays of less than a week. Stays of a week are charged at £15 and £15 for each week thereafter
