So whether you come to bike, kayak the mine pit lakes, paddle board Serpent Lake, snowshoe, or simply enjoy some relaxation punctuated with great food, great coffee, a local brewery or browsing downtown, Velocipede Cottage welcomes you. The bike storage shed includes a tire pump and the complementary use of a trailer hitch style bike rack for your use during your stay, if you need to transport bikes to the trails. Velocipede Cottage has been licensed as a vacation rental for a maximum of five guests by the Minnesota Department of Health. We will respond to your automatic booking through a message within one hour of booking. We will send you your door entry keycode or plan to meet you at the cottage to answer any questions, your preference. You will find a guest book listing local amenities, services, and menus at the cottage. Local businesses are excellent resources, and we as your hosts will be accessible to answer questions. While at Velocipede Cottage your neighborhood is just off main street, walking distance to great coffee, food and beverages at The Red Raven, blocks from the Iron Range Eatery, and the Cuyuna Brewery and many more great choices. Bike Rental and repair is around the corner, parks and history are all right here. And if a quiet campfire, or coffee on the front porch is what you need, it awaits you at Velocipede Cottage. Bike trail routes maps are available in the guest manual at Velocipede Cottage. No smoking/vaping is permitted inside the cottage or on the property, and no pets are allowed. The propery is not equiped with infant or child safety features.
