A beautiful 3 bedroom cottage located in the picturesque village of Salthouse. The area is renowned for it’s spectacular saltmarshes and shingle beach. A village shop and pub are less than a 10-minute walk away from the cottage. Popular seaside and market towns including Cromer and Holt are both less than 10 miles away making it a great spot from which to enjoy North Norfolk! Outside is a gorgeous enclosed garden and patio. Off-street parking for 1 car is provided right in front of the cottage with electric car charging point! THE SPACE Marlpit Cottage is a charming 3-bedroom property featuring 1 double bedroom, 2 twin rooms (bunk beds), open plan kitchen-dining room and sitting room with a wood burner. There is a shower room on the first floor and separate W/C on the ground floor. Upon entering the cottage you are greeted with a mix of terracotta and slate flooring throughout the downstairs. The comfortable sitting room offers plenty of space to relax in front of the cosy wood-burning stove (logs not supplied) and there is also a dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking with fridge (small freezer compartment), gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and cooking utensils. The living space downstairs opens onto the beautiful South facing lawned garden and patio area, the whole outdoor space is enclosed and private. Upstairs are the bedrooms and shower room. All three bedrooms feature rustic vaulted wooden ceilings. The spacious master bedroom offers a double bed, plenty of storage space and a hand basin. Each twin room comprises well designed, built in bunk beds as well as an additional platform / play space under the roof – loved by older children! Unfortunately we advise that these rooms are not suitable for under 5’s and use by other children is at your discretion. The beds are standard sized singles and can also be used by adults.
