Fountain Cottage B&B and Cafe, Twin Room

Fountain Cottage is nestled in the heart of the wonderful Bellingham, a town in Northumberland. Fountain Cottage, once a Workhouse in the 1800s, has now been renovated into a fabulous Café and B&B. We are opening for business in January 2020, offering comfortable stays in our rooms and delicious food served in our café. We have double and twin rooms, including one with disability access. All including a tasty breakfast. Some rooms include a luxurious hot tub bath and bathroom TV. All of our rooms are designed too accomodate two guests, they are very spacious and we do have facilities in place for travel cots or an extra bed for children up to 12 years. Bellingham is very popular for fishing and cycling. Here at the Fountain Cottage, we have storage facilities for bikes and fishing equipment. Staff will be onsite from 8am until 6.30pm everyday. We do have facilities in place for late check in if required. Managements contact details will also be given to guest, which they can contact 24/7. There is a lot of beautiful walks you can do in Bellingham, including going to Hareshaw Linn. The Hareshaw Linn walk is a stunning 2.5 mile walk through countryside passing the remains of an old ironworks - the area was once home to a number of iron and coal mines - that ends at a magnificent 30 feet waterfall. Bellingham is also a good base if you want to explore some of Northumberland's best-known attractions. It lies nine miles from Kielder Water & Forest Park and is only a dozen miles from Northumberland's own World Heritage Site, Hadrian's Wall.
