Oasis near San Francisco (pool, bocce court etc)

Our home is twenty minutes north of San Francisco in Marin County. It is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home, 3000 sq ft, one level, with a large backyard including pool, hot tub, bocce ball court, tree house, trampoline and outdoor dining. Beautiful hikes from the house. Thanks! Our home is located in cul de sac with a private driveway. As you enter the main front door, you pass through an open-air garden atrium to enter the home. The living and dining room are at the central, heart of the house. Floor-to-ceiling windows give beautiful views of the expansive backyard. The house has recently been remodeled with Italian porcelain tile throughout. The living/dining area has new furniture and is African-inspired to reflect the family roots of the owner. Our home has been featured in Houzz, in a commercial for NerdWallet and one of the sets for the movie, Life. To the left is the kitchen, pantry and laundry with all the necessary amenities (microwave; double ovens, dishwasher, gas stove, washing machine, dryer). On the left side of the house is the children and 'guest' area, with 3 bedrooms, (2 queen beds, one twin bed, and pull-out full size bed), 1.5 bathrooms, and a play/TV room with a piano, stationary exercise bike, books, boats games and toys. This room has direct access to the backyard and pool area. To the right of the living area is the master bedroom and attached master bathroom. This also has direct access to the backyard and has a beautiful view of the pool. There is a hot tub right outside. This 'wing' includes two separate rooms which serve as our “his and her” home offices. The home is all on one level. It was designed by the architect, Joseph Eichler, who was renowned for creating contemporary, open plan family homes that would blend in with the outdoors. The huge windows and sky lights throughout the home make it very bright and airy, and views of the hills, and backyard can be seen throughout. Heating is radiant throughout home (through the floor). The backyard has a beautiful large pool, hot tub, dining and lounge area with fire table. The hot tub is available all year round (kept at a constant 105) , the pool is heated using solar and at a balmy 84 degrees between May-October (too cold to swim in winter months). The backyard backs onto a staircase that takes you to a beautiful creek where you spot fish, otters and deer. Our garden has fruit trees including oranges, peaches and lemons and we have a wonderful herb garden. There is a trampoline, tree swing, and tree house, and a bocce ball court. The home and backyard are completely private. It is truly a children's paradise! Please note that we have a burmese cat that is indoor/outdoor and very domesticated and a feral cats that lives in our backyard (the feral is not domesticated and never comes inside). We will ask you to feed them kibble please once, each morning. We are 20 minutes north of San Francisco. We are also 20 minutes from the Pacific Ocean, and 25 minutes from the famous vineyards of Sonoma and Napa Valley. Lake Tahoe is a 3 hour drive away and Yosemite is a 4 hour drive. Our home is located in Lucas Valley which is situated in Marin County. Lucas Valley is a beautiful, serene neighborhood surrounded by oak-studded hillsides with interesting architecture, a strong sense of community, and plenty of recreational activities. We are just 20 minutes north of the Golden Gate bridge that separates San Francisco from Marin County. From Mount Tamalpais to Muir Woods, from Stinson Beach to Sausalito and Tiburon, Marin County offers an unparalleled combination of natural beauty and convenient access to the bustling city of San Francisco, the breathtaking Pacific Ocean, and the rolling vineyards of Napa and Sonoma. Marin County is surrounded by water on three sides. We are walking distance to hiking and biking trails and horse stables. Life in Lucas Valley offers breathtaking views, distinctive Joseph Eichler architecture designed to blend in with the muted colors of live Californian oaks, natural grasses, and the rolling hills that frame our community. Perhaps the most famous piece of Lucas Valley real estate is Skywalker Ranch, headquarters for Lucasfilm and Skywalker Sound just 2 miles away. We are also a short drive to an adorable 'small-town America' village called Nicasio (and the famous Nicasio Cheese Factory), as well as Point Reyes. Grocery shopping is about 2 miles away, along with a wonderful shopping center that houses Macy's, Gap, a movie theater, restaurants etc. We have a TV in the rec room with access to Netflix, Hulu etc. We also have a SONOS system for wireless music throughout the house and backyard. Note that AT&T does not have good service in Lucas Valley (all other providers are fine). The entire home, backyard, pool, hot tub, and next door community center pool and tennis courts. We will not be there if you rent out the entire house although if we can, we will be there to welcome you. There's a bus right outside that takes you to downtown San Francisco during commute weekday hours only. We have 2 outdoor cats (feral) and one (Athena) that is both indoor/outdoor. They get fed once/day in the morning and we will ask you to please feed them. The master bedroom has a large skylight. If you like to sleep in, please bring an eye mask with you! We don't allow big parties to be hosted, and no more than 8 guests on the property at any one time.
