Double room A ~ easy rail & road access to Dover

My home is situated in the quaint semi-rural village of Shepherdswell. We are well located just off the A2 with easy road and rail access to both Canterbury and Dover. So ideal if you just want a place to stopover for the night before heading overseas or somewhere to use as a base for exploring "The Garden of England". Port of Dover ~ 15 minutes by car Eurotunnel ~ 25 minutes by car On the North Downs Way too for walkers. Note: A teenager, two dogs and one cat live in the house. Welcome to my home. A detached house with on street parking. The double room that is available overlooks the front garden at the front of the property so is sunny and light most of the day. Guests will have access to the lounge and garden. These however are all shared common spaces with my family and pets. I am available as much or as little as you need me. I am available to contact via email or mobile for any queries beforehand and also once you have arrived. Shepherdswell is a semi-rural quaint English village sat on the North Downs Way. We have the following amenities in shepherdswell - A small co-op supermarket (5 minutes walk from my home). A main line train station (5 minute walk from my property) - access to Dover/Folkestone/Ashford & London in one direction and in the opposite direction is access to Canterbury/Faversham & London. A large recreational ground with a children’s play park. The Bell Inn - local pub (doesn’t serve food at present). The Tipsy Gardener- local pub (doesn’t serve food at present). There are some take away food outlets in neighbouring villages which do offer a delivery service to Shepherdswell. East Kent Light Railway - You can take a ride on the train to the neighbouring village of Eythorne. (some locomotives are steam powered but not all). Car - Parking at the property is on the road at the front of my home. Car - Getting around - we are only a 5 minute drive away from the A2 which gives good access to both the M20 and M25. Train - Getting around - We are a 5 minute walk away from a main line station giving access to both Dover and Canterbury. Trains run every hour at off peak times and every half an hour at peak times. Timetables are available in the guests welcome pack which is located on the bedside cabinet.
