My period cottage in historic Berkhamsted is located between the High Street and the Grand Union Canal. Close to excellent restaurants, bars and artisan shops - and a stones throw from canal side pubs and stunning canal walks. Berkhamsted is well served by fast trains into London and the A41 with quick access to the M25 and beyond. The property consists of a cosy lounge, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath and large double bedroom. There are two additional single bedrooms that are available to book - Please see 'Other things to note if you wish to book these in addition to the main bedroom. There is super fast fiber broadband throughout the house. The cottage has been recently redecorated and retains many period features. There is a small courtyard garden to the rear. Parking is via on street parking which is free throughout the day and night. The cottage is less than a minutes walk from The Rex Art Deco Cinema in one direction and a minute from the canal in the other direction. The train station with fast trains into London Euston is a 5 minute walk away and the A41 / M25 junction about a 10 minute drive. Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have. Guests have use of the entire home I am available if guests have a problem and I live nearby The house is a few meters from the High Street and the centre of Berkahmsted with its Art Deco cinema, numerous cafe's, bars and restaurants. In the other direction the Grand Union Canal is a minutes walk away with great walks and excellent canal side pubs. Parking, is free on street parking. There are also two large pay and display car parks in the centre of town. The train station is a 5 minute walk away with fast trains in London Euston. If you are booking for three people, an additional bedroom will be made up for you. Where booking for four people, the third bedroom will be made up.
