Chesham Bois / Amersham/ Old Amersham We are set in the idyllic village of 'Chesham Bois' (a protected conservation area) and are a short 10 min walk from 'Amersham', and a 30 min walk to the beautiful 'Old Amersham' (a historic Market Town) We are on the border of the Chiltern Hills- which offers outstanding beauty- while also being very close to central London and Oxford- a perfect resting place for business commuters and tourists looking for easy access to London, while also experiencing what beautiful countryside England has to offer. 'Old Amersham' is a lovely quaint town, just a 5-minute car ride away. It is as quintessential as you can get in regards to English historical towns and dates back to the 15th Century. There is a fantastic array of restaurants, cafes, Pubs and shops, along with a quaint Church which you are allowed to visit. The village is perfect for a Sunday stroll, finished off with a coffee and a piece of cake from Grocers cafe, where they serve an incredible array of Cakes- the Guinness cake is my personal favourite.
