Family home situated on 10+ acres on a KY scenic byway w/ a view overlooking the gunpowder creek valley. This home provides a quiet & private lifestyle. 7+ acres of wooded forest and trails offer unique opportunities for hiking, photographing deer and other wildlife. The expansive yard has a fire pit, large charcoal grill, and a trampoline. About 30 minutes from Cincinnati. 18 miles from the Creation Museum, and 33 miles from the Ark Encounter. This home is deep cleaned and sanitized! Guests have full use of the living space and yard. We are available by phone, text, or email during your stay. Additional sites and amenities in our area: -Big Bone Lick State Park---15 minute drive, hiking, extensive fossil collection, playground, and wildlife...including Buffalo -The Knot Marina--- 1 mile away, bar and grill, groceries, fuel, boat ramp and rentals, and access to the Ohio River -Historic Rabbit Hash District---Weekly open mic and potluck at the General Store, and a chance to meet the mayor (he's a dog) -Boone County Arboretum---(10 min. drive) curated trails with Botanical collection, ball fields, basketball and tennis courts, playground There is no public transportation in our area, but Lyft and Uber service our area. When requesting a ride-share service pick-up, best to schedule it in advance on the app. This home is in the country and does not have a landline or good cell phone service with most carriers. However, we have excellent Internet and Wi-Fi and use Verizon over Wi-Fi for phone calls.
