With home from home comforts to include bedding, towels, showering toiletries along with an electric heating system and some basic necessities for you... self catering will be an ease and a joy during your time time here. Kitchen cooking utensils along with dining crockery and supplies are all at hand including a small oven with 2-hobs, fridge and kettle to conveniently prepare meals. You too can pre-order Food and Meal Bundles, including Breakfast Trays and even a Ready Dinner Pots should you wish for a home-cooked evening meal ready for you to enjoy indoors or al-fresco to save you time doing so and make you more time relaxing and enjoying! Along with your own kitchen area and a shower room which includes a shower, sink and toilet, The Goose Nest has a fixed double bed for 2 adults and sleeping arrangements for 2 children... 2 single beds 'day bed' and 'trundle bed'. A sheltered and seated verandah area with a gate to help keep those little feet (furry or human!) close by along with views of the stunning neighbouring Reservoir as a fire-pit with grill and seating, it will make the most of the outdoors during your stay... whether it be reading, eating, playing games or just taking making the most of some time out within beautiful surroundings. Bespoke, handcrafted Cabins sit naturally charming amongst the woods... a perfect backdrop for such woodland craftsmanship. Each Woodland Cabin has been carefully designed and uniquely decorated with a rustic, comfortable interior and we ensure all the amenities you would expect for a relaxing and comfortable stay are at hand. With bespoke woodland style, unique decor and a layout with cosiness galore will make your stay enjoyable during your stay here! Self catering with your own shower room and fully functioning kitchen, each Cabin has all kitchen and BBQ supplies at hand and all you need for cooking, dining, washing and sleeping! Along with a fixed double bed for 2 adults and sleeping arrangements for 2 children (3 children in The Boar Wood) each Cabin is different yet all provide the same enjoyment for singles, couples and families alike. With home from home needs to include bedding, towels, toiletries and some basic necessities, self catering will be an ease and a joy! With electric, heating, soft duvets blankets and throws, you'll find each Cabin comfortably cosy in the cooler months and being in the coolness of The Woods, perfect for those warmer months too. Such peace around you, you will find it easy to comfortably sit back and relax... either toasty around fire pit or snug in your unique double bed. Cook with the family or pre-order one of our Meal Bundles or a BBQ Box should you wish to make your stay even more easy and relaxing whilst tasting the delicious local produce which is offered. Sit back, unwind, recharge - take it all in, rain or shine, the Great Outdoors is where you are and each window in the Cabin has an amazing view of the woodlands you are staying within and the panoramic views around... it will never tire you. A sheltered seated verandah area with views of the stunning neighbouring Reservoir and woodlands truley makes the most of the scenery constantly around you. It's a great place to sit and hear the morning, and evening, birdsong with a cuppa or dine al fresco watching and listening the wildlife around you. Dogs are allowed at Seven Acre Woods (as long as kept on leads and not left alone onsite), we have 4 Woodland Cabins that are dog friendly and as too are our Camp Pitches to accommodate you and your furry family members for your stay... there is just as much for them to explore and see too! The woodlands and countryside are literally on the doorstep to explore and adventure out on or to sit and admire while sitting round a fire pit or on your verandah. Read a book, play a board game or take a nap... or all 3! Do as much or a little as you wish, there is plenty to see and do onsite, whether it be to check out our Pygmy Goats or the wildlife or take a walk amongst the woods... We live on site are are mostly home 24 hours a day and generally contactable between 08:00 and 20:00. There is an buzzer system at The WoodShed Gate on check-in which too is useable throughout your stay to make contact with us, and a mobile number is provided in your Cabin in the event of any urgent matter. We are located just outside the little ‘picture perfect’ village of Sedlescombe in East Sussex, a few miles from Battle and Hastings where there are plenty of days out and sightseeing trips beyond Seven Acre Woods itself, as well as many attractions and excursions more local to the area you can too enjoy. A public footpath runs through the land which is a great place to start your exploring locally and further afield.  You can walk to the local village or just explore High Brede Woods which has plentiful wildlife and amazing history attached to this Woodland Trust site. Upcycled, recycled, reused and handmade, the Cabins and other structures are bespoke and unique in every way using natural materials and hand crafted skills in every opportunity. We have a NO music policy throughout Seven Acre Woods which respects that we are within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and means yourselves, neighbouring wildlife, us as well as your fellow Cabiners and Campers can enjoy the setting and outdoor life to the fullest. Dogs are allowed at Seven Acre Woods (as long as kept on leads and not left alone onsite), all Camp Pitches are dog friendly and we too have Woodland Cabins to accommodate you all for your stay... there is just as much for them to explore and visit too! With so much to offer including fire pits, books and games, den building, meal bundles and an Honesty Shop along with beautiful walks around Powdermill Reservoir, your time with us we are sure will fulfil all you need during your stay. We have no cars onsite, but our car park is very close by to The Woods and The Field and there are barrows and carts to transport your luggage to your Cabin or Tent Pitch.  So, on arrival, park in your allocated parking spot, check in with us at The Wood Shed, grab a cart, grab your gear and trundle off into The Woods or The Field and settle in for a wonderful stay! We are a small family run business and we live and work onsite at Seven Acre Woods and proud of what our dream has become.  We hope your stay with us too will too be a dream for you and we look forward to welcoming you when you stay! You can walk to our local village of Sedlescombe via the public footpaths directly from Seven Acre Woods and the several routes vary from 35 to 90 minutes.  The Woodland Trust has some amazing walks through Brede High Woods and the history, scenic paths along with the wildlife and flowers, especially the bluebells, will amaze you all day long. Right on the doorstep too is the Hastings Fishing Club which allows non-members as well as members and there is the amazing pub restaurant, The Queens Head, in the village which is run by the wonderful James and Gilly and serves fabulous food in atmospheric surroundings.  As well there is a hotel, The Brickwall Hotel, that too you can dine and drink.  There is the Village Post Office Store that supplies all your needs and you’ll too find an Antiques Store to browse and tennis courts along with a playpark and large recreation ground for exploring with children in tow.  A major supermarket is within several miles to stock up on anything that our own Honesty Store or the Village Store may not have.
