Whether you want to enjoy the peace and quiet of a country setting, visit the farm animals on the property, or hang out by the fire-pit and roast marshmallows, you certainly will feel refreshed as you spend time here. This cabin is located on the Abiding Place property, a place for retreat, renewal, and restoration. Conveniently located close to High Point (Furniture Market), and other Towns/Cities of theTriad, NC. Coffee provided Firewood provided for fire-pit S'mores (marshmallows/Chocolate/Graham crackers) provided Nature trail for hiking Kayaks available (lake w/in 10 minute drive) Guests are free to walk anywhere on the property and feed the animals if desired. Your host will be either on the property or close by during your stay, should you need anything. Visit the World's Largest Chair or the Old Train Station in Historic downtown Thomasville, just two miles down the road. Wallburg Emporium & Coffee Shop is a must see! we encourage you to visit the Thomasville Visitors Center on line for listings of where to shop, eat or explore in Thomasville. There are free range chickens and ducks and an occasionally loose baby goat. Please keep this in mind and keep pets on their leash while you are near The Shack. However once walking on the trail you are free to let your pet off the leash.
