Our resort offers a perfect environment for relax thanks to its extraordinary and irreplaceable atmosphere. Our 600-year old cellar is the perfect place for archiving and maturation of spontaneously fermented natural wines. The name of the apartment derives from the gigantic mulberry tree located in the backyard. In summer time, you can sit under this tree, with the pleasant shadow of its lists, and taste a cup of quality coffee and delicious cakes from the adjacent coffee-bar Čokokafé. We are available on phone or our waiters in adjacent coffee-bar Čokokafé will gladly help you (11:00-19:00 every day). The Renaissance House, a National Cultural Monument, is open to the public and offers cultural, artistic, and wine-tasting experiences in its multifunctional venues. Its history dates back to the 15th century, when it was built by German colonists as part of their row house settlement. Around the year 1600 the original gothic structure with its highly positioned flat, shallow cellars, and interior constructions for work and craftsmanship activities was completely renovated. Later on, some baroque adaptations were made; and – finally – the whole building was reconstructed in the half of the 20th century. The extraordinary significance of the building resides in the preservation of its original image of the end of the 17th century, i.e. arched undercrossing, annular cellar vaults with lunettes, timber ceiling, arcade stairs, and lining of Renaissance style windows. Along the wall of the Renaissance House we have the alleged oldest grapevine in Svätý Jur. The centenary root reminds times when this city lived only for wine.
