This lovely room has its own private entrance and big sliding doors opening onto the garden and super views directly towards Orford Ness and the North Sea. With tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and a gloriously comfortable super-king bed, this peaceful hideaway is in an area of outstanding natural beauty on a tranquil Orford lane. Our lovely Writing Room maximises the spectacular views and tranquil peace of this estuary site. This private space is set away from the main house and has been decorated and furnished for practical comfort with vintage pieces sourced from local auctions and vintage shops. We set up this space for our own use as a quiet pace for writing and thinking and just being. The Writing Room is not a boutique-style space, has no high-tech (the wi-fi is a little slow) and if you are looking for hotel style luxury, then this may not be for you. We do, however, have a super-king bed gloriously comfortable with deep pocket sprung mattress and fine quality linen . An amazing view.
