Cosy private panorama cottage with nice terrace.

The cottage is just outside of Hella on the south of Iceland standing by the giving fishing river Ytri Rangá. Fishing licence is not included. It is a quiet place with a nice terrace where you can enjoy the marvelous nature. The cabin is 30 square meters with a kitchen, bathroom and a private shower room. There is a queen size bed and a double size sofa. Maximum four people can stay in the cabin. There is a free parkingplace outside. This is a perfect place for resting and enjoying the nature and its powerful silence. It is easy to find the place. It is only 1 km from the highway. If you are coming from Reykjavík you drive to east 93 km on road 1. Just before you arrive Hella you turn right to the road 25, Þykkvibær. Then you drive 1 km and turn left to RANGÁRSTÍGUR. The house is number 3. You can arrive at 4 pm or later and stay untill 10 am on the departure day. The cabin is private standing next to the owners bigger Cabin where they stay every now and then. Hella is just 3 minutes from the cottage where you can find shops, bakery and restaurants. There is also a local swimming pool with hot tubs and sauna. From the terrace it is wonderful to watch the volcanos Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull. In the summer you can watch the fishermen fishing salmons in the river. In the winter you can often see the marvelous northern lights dancing in the sky. You can travel to many beautiful places nearby. It would be perfect taking the bus from Hella to ÞÓRSMÖRK and and enjoy the marvelous nature and walk in the wild. You can take the boat to Vestmannaeyjar, nice visiting the museum Pompei of the north . It only takes 30 minutes to drive to the beautiful waterfall Seljalandsfoss. You can visit The Saga Center and Lava centre in Hvolsvöllur. Vík and Black beach is only 93 km away. It is nice to walk along the river and see the beautiful waterfall Ægissíðufoss. There are many beautiful places nearby so we recomend to stay more than one night.
