Abada Yurt in Sussex Countryside
Perfect for an ultimate escape or an off-grid family adventure, the yurt is located in the beautiful part of Sussex countryside. A 16ft yurt sleeps up to 4 people. It is based at the remote area of a farm with its own eco-friendly amenities. Private outdoor sitting area and a firepit. We can accommodate up to 10 people in additional bell tents for family gatherings or small groups. The yurt is self-catering with camping style cooking facilities, but no electricity. Cosy and secluded accommodation for a romantic escape or a family adventure in the nature. It sleeps up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). The yurt has a large log burner and private facilities (a dry compost toilet and an outdoor shower). We provide bedding, but please bring your own towels and flip flops for the shower. There is a camping gas stove for the outdoor use. Pots, pans, plates, and cutlery are provided. Please keep in mind that's it is a self-catering accommodation on the rural site. Logs for the log burner and for the fire pit can be pre-ordered in advance at the additional cost (£12 per basket, includes kindling and firelighters). There is no electricity in the yurt, but there are torch lights and lanterns. the yurt is self-catering but not too far and always available by phone. Each yurt has its your own site and facilities where you often see not many people for a whole day. Guests are welcome to walk through the farm and surrounding areas, but please stay on footpaths and avoid touching or feeding all the farm animals, especially horses. If you come with children please take full responsibility for your children and don't leave them unattended. Please keep in mind its a rural site with plenty of wildlife around. A box of logs, kindling and firelighters can be provided at the additional cost of £10 if pre-ordered (please contact for payment details). Our guests enjoy peace and quiet of the countryside. The accomodation is self-catering but please call us and let us know if you need anything, we will do our best to help! There are two individual yurts located on the premises. They have a good distance and woodlands between them so guests won't see or hear each other during the stay. For larger groups 5m bell tents are available for hire. Crockstead Farm is located just off A22 and the turn is well indicated. if you travel by public transport there is a train station in Uckfield and bus service coming from Lewes and Brighton. Please follow the check-in instruction to find the way to your yurt and collect the keys from the key safe. Check-in time is 4 pm - 8 pm, check out is at 11 am.
