This bijou maisonette is a delightful space conveniently located behind Lyndhurst High Street. Compact but offering everything that is needed for a short stay. There is even a small courtyard garden for relaxing in or where bikes can be locked away. The location is perfect for exploring all that Lyndhurst offers and as a base for enjoying the entire new Forest area. Being within the heart of the village gives endless opportunities for trying out the many restaurants and cafes. This maisonette has been recently converted from the rear storage rooms of a shop that in a previous life was the bakery for the village. The maisonette is on 2 floors; the ground floor has superb open plan living space with a stunning kitchen and excellent appliances allowing guests to easily self cater during their stay. A small breakfast bar provides a great space for eating or placing a laptop to work. There is a very comfortable sofa (sofa bed) and a flat screen TV. Also on this floor is a shower room, incorporating the toilet and handbasin. Upstairs is the open plan bedroom with a fitted wardrobe. There are great views looking north of Lyndhurst. All parts of the home are available to the guests as is the small private courtyard garden. I live with my family in the New Forest just a few miles away from this property and together with my wife Jacqui we will be available to answer any questions that you may have. Lyndhurst is known as the capital of the New Forest. It is a great place to be based when exploring the New Forest. Being based in Thr centre of Lyndhurst means there is plenty of choice of restaurants and pubs. A Parking clock will be provided to give free parking for one car in the Lyndhurst main car park. This parking clock can be used in other car parks on the New Forest area. Lyndhurst is only 3 miles from Ashurst train station and 4 miles from Brockenhurst. There are taxis at Brockenhurst and in the summer the New Forest tour bus will stop there too. As this home is fairly small with an open loft style bedroom it is best suited to a couple. The flat is accessed via an alleyway just off the main high street. If you are working in the area and want a 4 night mid week stay then please ask for a special rate.
