Relaxing, quiet and comfortable

My airy double room offers a comfortable bed & a quiet night. Bright sunshine and birdsong awakes you in the morning (or draw the blinds if you prefer). Breakfast awaits you in the conservatory. There is also a twin room in the same house. The house is conveniently located for Bournville College, in the south of Birmingham. Free Parking at the house, take a stroll over to the college. Relax in the hammock in the lush gardens, sleep soundly - ready for an exciting day. Visit the nearby countryside, Stratford upon Avon and Warwick - or live it up in Birmingham centre. Play a round of golf at the Lickey Hills 18-holes golf course, situated within walking distance. Borrow a bike to cycle if you want to. Fast wireless internet comes as standard. The room is equipped with a writing desk and ample cupboard space. You are invited to relax in the lounge and gardens. Perhaps stretch out in the hammock? Breakfast will be served in the sunny conservatory. Feel free to keep fit on the state-of-the-art cross trainer. Fast wireless (or if you prefer ethernet) internet is included in your stay. You may use the kitchen to heat up a ready meal. I regret, but frying is not permitted. There is one bathroom to share. I work from home and will prepare breakfast for you before 8:30. You decide the rest. I offer walking/cycling excursions to the nearby countryside, time permitting. All the amenities are close at hand: several large supermarkets, a multiplex cinema, restaurants, the great outdoors (Lickey Hills), the 18-hole Lickey Hills golf course, and good motorway access (which you don't hear). The house is close to motorways M5 and M42 - but you don't hear them. It is connected to Birmingham city centre by a straightforward run on busses 144 or 63 and by train from Longbridge. Stratford upon Avon, Warwick and the Cotswolds are half an hour by car. If there are more of you, there is a second room available. It is cared for with the same loving attention to detail as the double room, but offers accommodation in one or two single beds. Please send me a message should you wish to book this room as well.
