Steyning Cottage - Stunning View & Close to town
Pretty cottage converted from a dairy on a farm on the outskirts of picturesque Steyning town. Self contained and well equipped with underfloor heating. Direct access to the South Downs National Park and local footpaths. Easy walking distance from local shops, parks, pubs and restaurants. The cottage is one of a pair of attached cottages converted from an old dairy. The cottage is single story and has wheelchair access Guests can use the entire cottage and garden areas My family and I live next to the cottages in a separate farmhouse. We would be delighted to give any advise on local attractions etc but recognise that people also want some peace and R&R Steyning is a picturesque traditional market town. It is unique in that there are no chain cafes and a fabulous range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. There are hourly buses to Shoreham by Sea (20 minutes bus ride) which is on the main train line into London Victoria and the coast line to Brighton or Worthing We live on a farm so horses, dogs and owls and sometimes tractors are often heard. Although the farm is only 15 minutes walk to the high street, the track to our farm (a few hundred metres) is dark at night so it makes us feel more remote.
