The Song of the Mountain Stream

You may appreciate : the placement between two mountain ranges of the Vosges, in the heart of the Valley "de la Plaine", between the mountain stream and the forests. the peaceful serenity of this house, the fire during the wintertime, the summer terrace at the border of the mountain stream. the modern confort of the two rooms and the combined "studio" at the ground floor. the hall "Opening up one's inner space", an open space for deep relaxation, for silence and meditation. The overall quality of this place offers you a complete privacy and freedom, as a possible and available option for a quick stay, in case you are "en route" to your final holiday destination. During a longer stay, it offers you a time to return to nature in a purely natural environment for a renewed contact with your own true self or inner nature. You have : two rooms for three persons, an italian type of shower, a little kitchen with a large dining table, the living room with its library, its fire in winter and summer terrace, the bureau on the second floor with an open view upon the garden and a nearby mountain slope, the open space for relaxation and meditation, the garden and the forest behind. We appreciate human relationships, sharing of experiences, all that let us share our quality of humanity. We are available for our guests during breakfasts and more. We are willing to meet the travellers' needs as much as possible. The house is situated at the border of the forest. In front of the house you may find the river of "La Plaine" and tracks for cycling in the "Voie Verte" area. A few steps ahead, you may find numerous roads and pathways for walks through the valley and along the wooded slopes, at levels of different altitudes and difficulty. In the village of Allarmont, you will find closely nearby two shops and a post office. At a distance of 15 minutes by car, you may arrive at "le lac de la Maix", a silent place in nature, "le lac de la Plaine", a place for recreation, the lakes of "Pierre Percée", for canoe and kayak, and the mountain top of the "Donon", wich you may climb in a walk of half an hour. You may park your car in our parking. There is a railway station in Schirmeck (20 minutes driving) and in Raon l'Etape (15 minutes driving). And there is a track for cycling along the valley. The breakfast will be served in the "salon" between 8 and 10 hours am. It is included in the price. It will be based upon biological and farmer's products and it can be adapted to your eventual dietary or preferences. This accomodation is limited to the use by three persons from the same family or group, so you do not need to divide the common spaces (except with the owners). The "studio" at the ground floor is completely for your private use and is rented with the two rooms.
