You will totally relax and recover You will love the comfort and ease of living here, listening to the abundant bird life, relaxing on the private veranda, enjoying the lawns and private garden or perhaps browsing our library. This is a calm peaceful setting in your private space overlooking a wetland conservancy area. Abundant birdlife, over 30 species of bird including hornbills and Loire's singing above you in the surrounding tree canopy. Monkeys pass through often showing off their babies. Otters and rock rabbit can be seen sunning themselves on the red brick waterway wall just outside the garden fence. There is a resident pair of owls and many Eagles perch on the edge of the wetland right in front of the large covered shade veranda Exceptionally private and accessible. Spacious flowing front covered veranda with step-less access onto lawn and gardens, secluded and private. The entire property is level and can be accessed directly out of the house with a wheelchair. This garden is for just for the birds and butterflies and of course you! We are on the property right behind and next door. We generally give our guests peace, privacy and their own space to relax in. Couple of texts or phone calls should raise us- we live next door, please try be nice ;) We are situated within a 3 minute drive from Hillcrest downtown , where you will find Waxy O”Conners, Oscars cafe, Mayfair cafe, Streta cafe, lineage coffee shop, station masters arms pub, Kearsney College and the Hillcrest Private Hospital is 4 minutes away. Hillcrest is a thriving small town with all amenities in close proximity, as well as several tourist attractions within 30-60 minutes travel. The valley of a thousand hills, Inanda or Shongweni dam and Shongweni farmers market on Saturday mornings 5am - midday are 12 minutes drive, all well worth it. The farmers market is disabled friendly. Taxis and Ooba are readily available within minutes. The supermarkets are a 15 min walk. Your hosts are available for emergency transport if you are nice about it otherwise there is a skateboard available! There is a charcoal grill available for your outdoor grilling/ Barbecue needs. Beware of monkeys helping themselves to any fruit left out in plain sight.
